Skin gland which produces sebum, a fatty substance. Androgens
stimulate an increased production of sebum. They are mainly located in the face, neck, back, chest, upper arms and neckline area. Sebaceous glands often open out into the hair follicle, sebum is then brought to the surface along the hair follicle.
